Frederik Næblerød

Frederik Næblerød er en dansk kunstner, uddannet fra Kunstakademiet. Han har blandt andet medvirket i dokumentaren “Kunstnerkolonien”, DR2 fra 2020 og dokumentaren “Ufortyndet”, DR2 fra 2021. Han er opvokset på Frederiksberg, moren er uddannet jurist og faren er økonom. Wikipedia

Recent exhibitions include “FED LER – Krukker i kunsten nu” at Gl. Holtegaard , Philipp Haverkampf in Berlin, Kunsthalle E-Werk in Schwerin, Politikens Forhal in Copenhagen and Kunsthal for Maritim Æstetik in Grenaa, Denmark.

Næblerød has participated in a group show at Anat Ebgi Gallery, Los Angeles, US and at NADA 2017 in Miami by Canada Gallery (NYC).

His paintings and sculptures are included in the collection of The Danish Arts Foundation and the collection of Ny Carlsberg Foundation as well as several important private collections.

“OFF GRID”, his duo exhibition with Casper Aguila was awarded by The Danish Arts Foundation in 2019 and their project “Korshage 2015-2016” was nominated for Art Critics Award 2018 (AICA Award). A book about the project is currently being made with a foreword written by Mikkel Bogh, the director of SMK – The National Gallery of Denmark. In April 2020 he received ‘Silkeborglegatet’ a grant which is awarded to a young artist for his practice.

He lives and works in Copenhagen, Denmark.
